This bug does not occur anymore for "Test Drive Unlimited (2007)" in wine
10.14. I tested the following versions:
10.10 - bug occurs
10.11 - bug occurs
10.12 - bug fixed
10.14 - bug fixed

Game: Test Drive Unlimited (2007)
OS: Kubuntu 24.04 LTS
DE: KDE 5.27.12
GPU: Geforce GT 750M
Driver: Nvidia 470.256.02
DirectX Wrapper: dxvk 1.10.3

Other games that I've seen being affected also work again.

Would be great to hear from Daniel Kamil Kozar if the bug is fixed for Sims 2
as well.
