[Bug 9717] Gothic 3 - shadow on the upper half of the screen

Sometimes I get something like "transparent" Textures. Some objects can be seen
through other objects, like the mushrooms in this picture.
This happens with all kinds of objects.
An annoying thing in Forrests is, that trees and other plants appear and
disappear. It's a kind of "blinking". This seems to kill performance, too.
I am not quite sure if this is related to this bug here.
