Hello,
- q4wine and playonlinux are third party applications that uses custom
patches and or features that winehq.org has no knowledge of and give no support for. Please, retest without third party applications, otherwise the bug is pending to be resolved invalid. This is a simple matter of running 'wine cmd' in a terminal.
- Bugs have to be reported against wine-devel or wine-staging.
wine-stable doesn't contain the latest features and fixes. Please, retest with recent wine-devel/wine-staging (current is 5.4).
- This is most probably a dupe of bug 8332.
wine-staging contains a ping implementation that makes the ping command work. Please retest with wine-staging to confirm that this bug is indeed a duplicate.
- Ping failure is not critical. It's an ICMP specific bug that doesn't
affect overall network functionality.
Regards.
I completly removed Wine 4.0.2, all other packages and my .wine folder. I installed stable version 5.0, ping not working as expected, but name resolution work fine and I think Wine network capability is ok. Thanks
