Summary: Wine does not provide an implementation of winhlp32.exe Product: Wine Version: CVS Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-help AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: dank@kegel.com
Wine removed support for winhlp32.exe when it switched how it supported built-in executables around 0.9.11. This caused a regression in some apps (for instance http://rayfract.com%27s trial version) which fail to install if there is no winhlp32.exe. I'm attaching a patch that adds an implementation of winhlp32.exe that just forwards to winhelp.exe. It's not quite right yet, but it does let rayfract.com's trial install.
