I'm hoping someone else can confirm/deny this bug's existence as my initial impression is that this is an individual case.
Probably an individual case. I tested Touhou 6 through 11 with wine version wine-1.1.18-119-g276c7a3 from git, and all wav audio worked as well as always.
There are however some issues if one chooses midi as playback, this has been reported as bug 16026.
