A recent sound related bug was fixed in wine-git by http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/ c1c108f58ce84a2aeefdc93de26287198acc6348 Could you try again in wine-git just to be sure the bug still exists?
I tested it in wine-git as of time of this comment, the same bug exists.
