can you run:

WINEDEBUG=+font wine Picasa2.exe > picasa_font.log 2>&1

and attach the log?

I have several Ubuntu systems here. Only one had the problem, and after I
removed the tamil font, the problem went away, and now I can't produce it on
that machine either.
