Hi everyone,
The bug is still present in wine-devel 1.9.9 under Debian Jessie.
Fixed it by installing corefonts in the system (winetricks could not connect to the web server from which it downloads the fonts) with package ttf-mscorefonts-installer.
That would point towards the bug really being about the corefonts availability.
Let me know if you need any further information, log, etc.
