The game freezes after starting, showing only a black screen and consuming 100%
CPU power.
No output from Wine in the terminal.

This is a regression, caused by

msvcrt: Don't duplicate _setmbcp functionality inside _create_locale
function.

The reverted patch fixed the problem.
Native msvcrt.dll is a workaround.
