As suggested on the 'Regression Testing' page as a (try first) option: deleting
my existing ~/.wine directory and then reinstalling the application with the
'updated' wine 1.4 resulted in a working ContactKeeper application.

A couple of the database calls relating to editing entries in the contacts list
did not work, but this had also been the case prior to the wine 1.4 update

As far as I am concerned this bug report status can be updated to a 'resolved'
