Thank you for taking the time to address this bug. Assumingly, your buggy driver comment is in reference to the video driver? May I please have more detail regarding your opinion as to why you think the driver is at fault and not WINE? Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter and I look forward to your response.
Wine is a user space program. Only a program running with system privileges (kernel/drivers) or as root can lock up your entire computer. Wine may be triggering a driver bug, but it is still a driver, not wine, bug.
