No, it's not a requirement, the tests are just skipped in that case.

I think the issue is "Mesa warning: failed to remap *". Imho as long as you
don't call the functions all seems to be fine. Looks like your build is broken.
I don't got these warnings here. You may attach the build log...

You could also try a 64bit build mesa with a 64bit build wine, does that have
the same issue?
