I can reproduce the problem with the demo version, linked in comment #0. The launcher for the game crashes in mshtml. It is a duplicate of bug #30181: both games use the same launcher from Alawar Entertainment, and they crash with the same backtrace.
'winetricks ie7' is a workaround for the reported problem.
It should be also noted that the game won't start unless Russian localization is set. It should be started like this: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8 wine MidnightMysteries4.exe
