Product: Wine Version: 1.3.34 Platform: x86-64 URL: http://www.winuae.net/files/InstallWinUAE2330.exe OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: markk@clara.co.uk Classification: Unclassified
Hi,
Some programs cause the following text to be printed over and over to the console: fixme:d3d_surface:wined3d_surface_blt Blit clipping not implemented.
It would be good if that message could be shown only once (or suppressed after a certain number of times).
One program which shows this is WinUAE 2.3.3. I tested in Lubuntu 11.10 64-bit. To demonstrate:
- Download the WinUAE 2.3.3 installer - Run the installer, check the box to run WinUAE at the end. - When the WinUAE Properties window opens, depending on the graphics driver, you might need to change filter type from Null filter to None for this issue to show up. - Click the Start button. - Drag the emulation window until it is partly off-screen. - Wine prints the same fixme over and over: fixme:d3d_surface:wined3d_surface_blt Blit clipping not implemented.
