It works in windows, also works in linux after installing directplay dll
through winetricks (I tried drakan lan multiplayer on vm linux host + windows
guest, and it worked, with directplay dll).

Of course online multiplayer servers have been off for a long time, I meant LAN
servers and LAN multiplayer.

Btw I found a wine dplay metabug (https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6847)
and as far as I understand dplay isn't implemented in wine at all?
