OK, sorry about the copyright infringement but how meaningful is this report without the exe?
tom@server:~$ wine "/home/tom/.wine/dosdevices/c:/program files/MicroGrafx/Magic/MAGIC.exe"
Try starting it from the application directory as recommended by the FAQ.
