Summary: uTorrent is not shutting down correctly when system shutting down/rebooting Product: Wine Version: 1.2-rc5 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ashalimov@gmail.com
Hi! I have an issue with uTorrent (2.0.2 and older): it is not shutting down correctly when host system is shutting down/rebooting. As a result, if I don't quit uTorrent manually before rebooting, it rechecks all active torrents when started, which is extremely slow on my poor Atom CPU. Perhaps uT doesn't understands that the system is shutting down (doesn't receives WM_SHUTDOWN? Or given too little time after that?). I'm experiencing this behavior since uT 1.8 (I think) and older versions of Wine (pre 1.0).
Steps to reproduce:
1) Start uTorrent 2) Add any torrent 3) Wait until it actually begins download 4) Reboot linux 5) Start uTorrent again (if not started automatically)
uTorrent begins rechecking all downloads that has been active at shutdown
Thanks!
