This is still a problem for me in current wine (1.5.22) with the GoG version. My output looks like this :
[xavier@xavier-pc jeu]$ wine comandos.exe fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32ed08,0x00000000), stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32ec38,0x00000000), stub! fixme:ddraw:ddraw7_WaitForVerticalBlank iface 0x12c5c8, flags 0x1, event (nil) stub! ... Could the game videos depend on an optional dependency of wine? GyB, did you use any overrides?
I receive the exact same terminal output. Intro videos are not playing, but the menu appears correctly. This was tested in a clean wineprefix, Nvidia gfx card + binary drivers, Gnome 3 as well as XFCE 4.10. In-game videos use Cinepack codec (it is not installed here).
