I just installed vb6 on Dapper Drake
(with xserver-xorg-7.0.0-0ubuntu45
It showed lots of warnings like

err:xrender:UploadGlyph GetGlyphOutlineW failed
...
fixme:font:WineEngGetGlyphOutline FT_Load_Glyph on index 0 returns 20
...

and then

Wine is finalizing your software installation. This may take a few minutes,
though it never actually does.

I tried reproducing with WINEDEBUG=+synchronous, but it
didn't happen the second time.  Figured I'd record it here
for future reference.
