system running Fedora 13 x64 bit
[VirtualHope ~]$ wine --version wine-1.3.14
[VirtualHope ~]$ env -i PATH=$PATH DISPLAY=$DISPLAY XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY HOME=$HOME /usr/bin/wine "C:\bcs\BCS.EXE" wine: cannot find L"C:\windows\system32\wineboot.exe" err:process:start_wineboot failed to start wineboot, err 2 fixme:hook:SetWindowsHookEx16 System-global hooks (3) broken in Win16 fixme:hook:SetWindowsHookEx16 System-global hooks (4) broken in Win16
Missing wineboot is a bad sign.
Most likely your Wine installation is missing important packages, make sure you have installed all main Wine package dependencies.
