--- Comment #24 from wine@loeb-it.de --- Hi, I can confirm the same issue with wine-vanilla (7.0 and 8.1) on Gentoo. This includes the strange behavior that wine starts after repeated tries with only one screen as described in comment #17. However, i noticed it also start with multiple displays (3), it just takes more tries. So it might be some timing issue.
This machine also is a laptop with dual graphic card setup (Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 Mobile / Max-Q and Intel UHD Graphics P630)
Added terminal output of wine 8.1 with this setup. Maybe it is useful for comparison.
Tomorrow I will try the same on a machine with nearly identical setup, but only one graphic card (Iris Xe)
