--- Comment #2 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net 2010-01-17 18:19:13 --- I can confirm this in 1.1.36. Slide show view is fine, but the only slides that display on my system in normal view are 1, 4, 8, 12, 14, and 21. The rest of the slides just show the last displayable slide when paging down through them, i.e., slides 2 and 3 show the content of slide 1, slide 4 displays normally, but then stays onscreen through slides 5, 6, & 7, etc.
I tested the file in Windows XP, and it does not have this problem.
The problem appears to be related to the font used, Century Gothic, which is one of the fonts installed by Office itself. Changing the font to Arial solves the problem. Why, I have no idea. The slides that displayed properly all along were also originally in Century Gothic. I also tried creating a test presentation using that font, and Powerpoint 2007 had no problem with it.
I'm not posting console output because it's the same regardless of what font was used, though I'll be happy to if anyone wants it. It's mostly a bunch of fixme:ole:snapshot_QueryGetData messages.
