Summary: Some fonts are not anti-aliased when font anti-aliasing is enabled Product: Wine Version: 1.3.18 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: dbmmbr@gmail.com
In Mac OS X 10.5.8 (xquartz 2.6.1), in Wine 1.3.18 (and in Wine development versions since, I think, version 1.1.42 (in since, I think, around xquartz version 2.5.1 or so) some fonts (such as Microsoft Sans Serif and Tahoma) are not anti-aliased when font anti-aliasing is enabled. In previous development versions of Wine that I used, all fonts (including fonts such as Microsoft Sans Serif and, I think, Tahoma (which, I think, is the default (and maybe non-specifiable?) Wine system font)) that were displayed in (I think, all of) the windows of (I think, all of the) programs (that I used that were) run by Wine (such as the fonts of all of the text in the winecfg dialog box window) were anti-aliased when font anti-aliasing was enabled.
I don't know whether or not the fonts that are not aliased in those development versions of Wine are aliased in the latest stable version of Wine (nor do I know whether or not those fonts are aliased in any previous stable versions of Wine).
