I have already said there is a reason for duplicating it.
But it looks like Microshaft wins again.  God knows how that patent was
granted!

How nice for the end user.

It looks like the ~blah on Wine remains consistent anyway, so, in theory, any
workarounds using the short paths should work every time, unless something is
changed later.

I'm sure I'll find out soon enough.
