Which kinds of artifacts? Can you attach a screenshot?
Side note: Do not care about "Parasite snowing". It's not recent fault. If i remember correctly, i have the "snowing" since i began to use wine (different nvidia drivers, kernels, wines, etc..). WinXP doesn't have this snowing. CoD4 v1.7
