okay, from my side: it is not fixed!

to the "resizing the friendslist will refresh anything":
negative! it doesn't. resizing the friendslist will ONLY refresh the
friendslist itself.
It was ever so for me, there is no version of wine where resizing the
friendslist will refresh all other friends related windows.

In wine 1.1.2 there was a possibility by changing the status 3 or 4 times (from
"online" to "away" to "offline" and repeat), after that, all works.

But since wine 1.1.4 the chat have never worked.

My system:
Ubuntu 8.04
Nvidia GeForce 7800GTX
Nvidia Driver version: tried with all 177 drivers (all the same)
