Black screen problem still present in wine-9.8 (development version).
Default Wine configuration, unmodified.
Clean Wine directory.
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
X11 windowing system.
NVIDIA proprietary driver version: 535.171.04 (set to performance mode in Prime
profiles).
The GOG version of the game has been tested.
