[Bug 7229] WoW locks up

Dual core (X2) here.

Setting the affinity seems to have masked the problem for me. I have not
experienced the timeouts today. Good idea and temporary fix, by the way. :)

Bleeter, do you have anything running with a high priority that could be
preempting the wine process(es)? You might try killing extraneous processes and
adjust priorities if there is anything running with a higher-than-zero
niceness.

Any suggestions on diagnosing this further?
