--- Comment #23 from winezilla@memethief.com 2009-08-20 22:11:36 --- Confirming that this bug is still active. Wine: 1.1.27 OS: 2.6.27-14-generic SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux POWERPREP: 3.1.525 v1.09
Procedure: $ cd '~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/ETS/PPGRE' $ cd PPREP $ wine PPREP.EXE PPGRE 2> output-pprep.log Application opens without warnings or errors (except a couple of KDE parsing warnings that I think have nothing to do with this) Tests -> Practice Test 1 Answer "Administer Practice Test 1?" with "Yes" "Please wait" box appears for a few seconds, then disappears. A couple of seconds later "err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection" line appears in the log. Application is unresponsive. A minute later, dialog appears: "The program winedvm.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." etc.
Output attached.
