The creator of the patch somehow figured the problem out. That's not realistic
to ask someone else to that once again from the start. Noone would ask for a
test case if it would be that simple. Creating a test case sometimes needs much
more experience and knowledge than creating a quick hack which appears to
work for single type of an application.
