Thanks. Confirmed that it still can be reproduced with Wine 8.19 on Ubuntu
Unity 23.10 which ships Unity 7.7.
And it isn't only about WeChat, actually, it can be reproduced with any
application that owns a tray icon.
AFAIS, Unity doesn't implement tray icon, just like GNOME Shell does. I
installed a native application Spotify from snap, and Unity didn't display its
tray icon either.
Ideally, Wine needs to display a tray icon standalone window while tray icon
isn't available for the platform.
