It wasn't too nice anyway since it needs at least a partial tesselator implementation as well which would've been totally overkill... Anyway, you don't seem to have come as far as it sounded with implementing the ID3DXMesh interface, yet, so I guess my code should help you quite a bit then ;) I'd suggest talking to you on IRC about this first though, to explain a bit further what still needs to be changed in my code etc.
