--- Comment #1 from ficarde@gmail.com --- Aah, adding the rest of the Direct Music libraries as native fixed it; specifically, after dmsynth was added the warning at the start and the freezes were gone. Apologies, I didn't notice the "etc" after "dmusic, dmime, dmloader" in the Sound wiki entry.
