First, I mapped a new virtual hard disk into the VM, formatted it to the NTFS file system, and then mapped it to drive letter Z:. The second time, I mapped a Samba share of the Linux host onto Z:. Both times, I ran the CHL executable from the command prompt, and it started without issues. on Wine, I merely invoked the app with WINEDEBUG=$HOME/chl wine CHL_Network_.exe with my working directory in my user's desktop.
