In this case, it still seems to be like it would be useful to have Wine detect that this won't work on a 64-bit operating system, and to prevent the behaviour of trying to run the executables in DOSBox (and to at least attempt to run them on 32-bit operating systems). If I can find where this happens in the loader code, I would be willing to submit a patch.
