Patch can be attached only to Wine 1.3.27-29, the latter versions are incompatible with the patch.
The error message "We have detected one of your controllers may not be supported." doesn't disappear, however mouse is almost fully functional (once when my mouse got unplugged, when I plugged it back the mouse could be moved only in very limited angle but usually I can move it wherever I want).
