[Bug 15548] Voyage Century Online crashes to desktop after logging in

My machine is Linux Mint 5 x86_64(2.6.24-16-generic) with Geforce 7900 using
nvidia-glx-new(169.12+2.6.24.13-19.45).

I have had this exact same problem with Ubuntu 8.04 even with previous versions
of wine but Ubuntu 7.04 works completely fine.

I would also like to point out that I have Mint dual booted with Windows XP 64
with the game installed on both. But get this, if I run the one installed in
windows from within linux it works perfectly fine...

If there is anything I can to to help let me know. I remember trying other
recent distributions of linux and running into the exact same problem.
