the initial issue, that is the crash was already fixed some time ago by commit https://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/77be592845591c05a574b720b15c49... ("ntdll: Do not sort InMemoryOrderModuleList by memory address.") -> wine 1.9.14
The current hang in Denuvo's x64 virtual machine code has nothing to do with the crash reported here.
In general DRM/Copy-protection meta bugs shall be avoided.
Bug 40631 ("Denuvo support") reminds me of the old SafeDisc/Securom meta-bugs which stayed open for many years but were essentially useless due to hundreds of comments (they had to be broken into individual tickets, targeting exact versions and APIs).
