Yep, seems to work here. For the record, open:
%MyDocs%\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings\Addins.xml

and do /s/RequiresAuthorization="1"/RequiresAuthorization="0"/

you must have the updates already installed. In my case, Addins.xml was nearly
empty, so I took the one from my windows install.
