I'm not sure what's in xorg-edgers, but currently the recommended driver for
RV630 is r600g. This is probably related to some reported OpenGL capability,
you should try filing a bug at bugs.freedesktop.org if there doesn't exist one
already. I'd expect the texture issues in D3D mode to be related to missing
s3tc support. That's still work in progress for r600g, but setting the
R600_ENABLE_S3TC environment variable may help.
