Double-check that there is a file winetricks.log at the root of the wineprefix where Battle.net is installed (default prefix is ~/.wine). The file should contain the word "corefonts".
If it is there, try changing windows version to XP in winecfg.
If Battle.net works with this change, and the game requires another version of windows, you may add "Battle.net Helper.exe" to the list on the application tab, select it and then set windows version to XP. This way the helper process will run in XP mode, while the other programs run with the windows version set from the global application setting.
