This is a point 'n click adventure game that was built on the Unity engine. There is no demo version available.
In the options menu there are graphical list boxes to change screen resolution, language or detail level, but none of the boxes have text written on them (see attached screenshot). Installing native d3dx9* dlls doesn't fix the problem (looks like the game doesn't make use of d3dx9 at all).
