On some forums I watch, somebody had problems with service pack detection on
native windows in GTAIV, and somebody mentioned string CSDVersion in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows\CSDVersion
 where is the service pack version. Each hundred (i.e: 100 = SP1, 200 = SP2)
represents a service pack. So you can fake one.

I don't know if this could help, but I just noticed it, so I post it.
