Tested FL Studio with latest git. I do not use a proxy server.
Some apps expect the ProxyEnable entry to exist. Clicking on the 'online news' widget brings up an error "Failed to get data for 'ProxyEnable'"
That's a duplicate of bug 3711. Can you reopen it and attach a +wininet trace there?
Tested with wine-0.9.58-412-g0a8d2ba, +wininet trace attached. The program which exhibits the problem can be fetched from here http://hotlink.tucows.com/files/flstudio_8.0_install.exe
