[Bug 17750] Touhou Chireiden ~ Subterranean Animism - freezes shortly after launch

On my system it is not "practically" - the games freeze hard.  What model is
your video card?

Also I confirm that this effects the Touhou Seirensen ~ Undefined Fantastic
Object demo version 0.01a, and probably will the full game.

In addition, I tried upgrading my graphics drivers - and in doing so discovered
that I had been using "ATI Proprietary Linux Driver Version Identifier:8.47.3"
- which is now 8.50.3.  It made no difference.
