S103 Discovering Science is an Open University course application. It installs Toolbook 5.0 in its own directory during installation.
Toolbook is launched from within the S103 application but immediately fails with message: "Failed initializing the book file manager. Make sure the file TB50NET.EXE is available in your PATH. If failure continues, close other applications or increase conventional memory."
This works fine under Windows XP. Workaround is adding "C:\S103\TB50RUN;" to the PATH environment variable. Not sure how to do this with .reg file, which would make the workaround easier.
Only output in the console is this: fixme:hook:SetWindowsHookEx16 System-global hooks (7) broken in Win16
Installing Toolbook 5 separately does not help either (still a PATH problem).
