yup, this worked (thanks for that). The Slingplayer comes-up, I can connect to
the  slingbox but i see NO VIDEO. I can hear the audio however, I can change
channels etc... Do you know what the issue could be?

If you need a copy of the command line info once I start Wine and the
Slingplayer, I can provide these...
