console output with new .wine directory

I moved my .wine directory out of the way and ran the wineprefixcreate command.
 Then installed the app and this was the result.  The problem is still there in
Windows 2000 and Windows XP compatibility modes, but gone in Windows 98 mode. 
(There's actually a different bug in 98 mode, but has an easy workaround.)

Also, the Richedit workaround created more bugs as well and I had already
removed it this morning.
