Also sorry, I meant to include this in the earlier comments, but since you're
running with Gentoo, and with such old timesy packages too, as one of the
Gentoo Wine package maintainers I'd definitely invite you (and everyone else
inclined) to the 'gentoo-wine' IRC channel at libera for any doubts and more on
that topic!
