To create a fresh setup, I moved my old .wine dir out of the way, and started wine to create a new one. Then I installed the following two things as suggested:
wget http://www.uv.tietgen.dk/Staff/Mlha/Download/WIN/microsoft/scripten.exe wine scripten.exe wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks sh winetricks vb6run
